I am a Yamatji Wajarri/Badimia woman residing in Perth W.A. I decided to name my cosmetic line Djanaya Cosmetics to incorporate my cultural identity but with a modern twist. Djanaya is an Indigenous word meaning desert rose the butterflies in my original logo represent growth and flying free chasing the dreams we always envisioned as indigenous women. Something I enjoy doing is making others feel confident and extra pretty with enhancing their outer beauty and what better way than to have the choice of an indigenous owned brand you can come and buy from, we currently stock lashes for eye makeup but plan to expand on to other makeup in the near future 💖🦋
